Rich, weighty barrel-aged Sauvignon Blanc with nicely layered ripe tree fruit and nutty oak/yeast lees flavours. Big and quite complex wine with a lengthy finish.
Nose: A denser, richer and more complex wine emerges with each new swirl and sniff; savoury then fruity and earthy with a tropical fruit and citrus fruits combination - finishing with a leesy savoury and earthy quality.Palate: Reflects what the nose suggests with a savoury, juicy and earthy quality that draws the taster in for a closer look. A touch warm (14%abv) so perhaps chill for service. An interesting wine to enjoy soon!

Where our Flying sheep range is focused on delivering clear varietal expressions from Hawke’s Bay, our Prestige Collection wines are produced in a form that allows us to showcase the inherent character of our vineyard.
